Completing the puzzle to treat erectile dysfunction

In March, Androlabs hosted its first webinar with guest speakers Dr. William Akakpo and Dr. François Xavier Madec titled “Completing the puzzle to treat erectile dysfunction”. 

As erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common condition among the male population which can have a significant impact on overall quality of life, we teamed up with andrologists Dr. Akakpo and Dr. Madec to deliver a presentation to healthcare professionals to cover recent news and trends in erectile dysfunction. During the session, we covered topics including the emerging link between COVID-19 and erectile dysfunction, and the growing prevalence of the condition, as well as providing a masterclass on Vitaros® 3mg/g alprostadil cream. 

Dr. William Akakpo is a urological surgeon specialising in andrology, based in Paris. Dr. Akakpo is a current member of the Andrology and Sexual Medicine Committee of the French Association of Urology and former Fellow of the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Dr François Xavier Madec specialises in sexual and reproductive medicine and has experience in a range of innovative practices including use of the Da Vinci robot to perform minimally invasive surgery. Dr Madec is also a member of the Andrology and Sexual Medicine Committee of the French Association of Urology.
