European Congress of Endocrinology 2022

It was a pleasure to attend the ECE 2022 in Milan as members of the Androlabs team from Spain, Germany, the UK and Ireland had the opportunity to speak to thought leaders in the endocrinology sphere.

Some of our key take aways included:

• Sessions that focused on several topics were particularly well attended: including Andrology, Fertility, the Pituitary, Osteoporosis, developmental and reproductive hormones and the treatment of transgender patients
• Evidence gaps exist in many indications, e.g., for osteoporosis treatments for men, and more generally for pregnant women
• Several treatment gaps exist, including for men, transgender people, and young people – leading to discussions about off-label use of medicines
